Grass Lake Hunting Retreat near Mansfield, South Dakota, is about 30 minutes from Aberdeen.  A combination of grasslands, shelterbelts, sloughs and cornfields make it ideal for pheasant hunting.  There are also two lakes which contribute to excellent geese and duck hunting.

The best guide is one who has lived and hunted on this land for nearly 45 years.  I know every field and corner of this land.  I am totally committed to the best hunting offered.  You will not be disappointed.  We attract huge numbers of pheasants and waterfowl each year.  Grass Lake Hunting Retreat sits in the middle of the central North American Flyway.  The ducks and geese come into the two lakes by the thousands.

We work year round to preserve the habitat and environment that provides the birds with ideal conditions.  That work results in a high number of pheasants, so when hunting season comes, you will not be disappointed.  We also offer deer hunting packages.
